Eminent Spine Releases Lateral Lumbar Plate System

Release is company's 14th since 2009.

Georgetown, Texas-based Eminent Spine has released its Black Diamondback Rattlesnake lateral lumbar plate system. All its spine implants are named for snakes because of their resemblance to the human spinal column.

This new system is the 14th product to be designed and released by Eminent Spine since 2009. It uses the company’s patented Trilobe technology—four fang-like protrusions provide temporary fixation to the bone and help prevent plate rotation. The ultra low-profile lateral plate features flush screw heads that minimize lumbar plexus irritation. No bolts or nuts are needed.

Eminent Spine’s Minimally Invasive platform consist of the Texas Diamondback pedicle screw system, the Black Diamondback Rattlesnake lateral lumbar plate, the Rattlesnake lateral lumbar PEEK cage, the King Snake TPLIF PEEK cage, and the Black Mamba lateral retractor system.
